Welcome to our RCHEP! To maintain a productive and respectful environment for all members, we've established the following guidelines:
- Respect and Kindness: Treat all members with respect, kindness, and empathy. Harassment, hate speech, bullying, or any form of discrimination will not be tolerated.
- Language Matters: We encourage members to practice conscious communication and use person-centered language (e.g., person who is currently incarcerated, person with justice involvement, to name only a few). Learn more about our language policies.
- Privacy: Respect the privacy of others. Do not share personal information about other community members without their consent.
- Stay On Topic: Keep discussions and content relevant to the community's purpose or theme. Off-topic posts may be removed.
- No Spam or Self-Promotion: Do not spam the community with irrelevant content or engage in excessive self-promotion. If you want to share your work or services, do so in designated spaces.
- Intellectual Property: Respect copyright and intellectual property rights. Do not share copyrighted material without permission.
- Constructive Feedback: If you have feedback or criticism, express it constructively. Destructive or offensive comments are not permitted.
- Moderation and Reporting: Our moderators are here to enforce these guidelines. If you see a violation, report it rather than engaging in confrontations. Learn more about how to report an issue.
- Multiple Accounts: Use only one account per person. Multiple accounts can lead to confusion and misuse.
- No Trolling or Flame Bait: Do not post content with the intent to provoke or offend others.
- Compliance with Laws: Abide by all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations.
Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in warnings, content removal, or, in severe cases, account suspension or banning. Let's work together to create a welcoming and supportive community for all members!
