The Education: Administration and Implementation group is a space where the field can discuss topics such as curriculum development, institutional policy, instructor recruitment and training, assessment, budgeting and funding, technology, equity, accessibility, ethical considerations, and classroom culture.
The Opportunities in the Field group is a space where the field can discuss employment, work-learning, and volunteering opportunities, and HEP-related events.
The Reentry group provides a space to discuss all issues related to reentry, from intake onwards. Topics include employment assistance, housing, mental health, legal assistance, parole, and more.
The Research group is a space where the field can discuss program assessment/evaluation; HEP research design, ethics, methods, and challenges; and the publication process.

Welcome to the Womxn’s Higher Education in Prison Consortium (WHEP), a national consortium of higher education in prison programs that operate in prisons designated for women. WHEP is a collaborative initiative designed to advance equity in higher education for incarcerated women, transgender, and gender-nonconforming individuals.
