In the first four years, the Rise Up conference drew over 1700 registrants and raised over $60,000 to fund the conference and compensate directly impacted presenters for their time, expertise, and experiences. We hope to expand on this incredible start with our fourth annual Rise Up conference on September 7th -9th, 2025.The time to form a collective power and act is now. We owe it to those we left behind and those who are to follow. The event is free and open to everyone, however, we are collecting optional donations from all interested individuals. 100% of funds collected through the form below will be used to cover costs of hosting the conference (graphic design, web hosting services, etc.) and compensate all directly impacted speakers, both conference presenters and keynote speakers, for their participation in the event. Funds are being collected, and payments to vendors and speakers are being dispersed, by Hudson Link for Higher Education in Prison, a nonprofit organization that has been operating college programs for students in New York State prisons since 1998. Any collected funds that exceed 2025 conference costs will be serve as seed money for an in-person conference in 2026, funding and public health permitting.
